Is there a way to write a scipt (or modify the login script) to install a security patch on a workstation when the user logs on?

Yes, I generally put the security patch in a shared dirctory and point to it from my logon script. Each patch comes with a switch to make in silent when installing. This has worked 95% of the time. It doesnt work with large updates over slow connections.
