script to change computer names

Hi,

I am pretty new at all of this. I need to write a script that will change the names of 50 computers on the network. i have a excel file of the old names and what the new names would be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just dont have the time to go to all of the computers and change them manually.

I have a similar issue, but for windows servers. Can any of you guide me to find a white paper or tech document that can help me on this..?

Which windows servers? netdom.exe also works for Windows Server 2003.
