This weekend is the Labor Day holiday, which is a big deal to us US-ians. Remember to drink lots of fluids and slather yourself with sunblock. Everyone have a nice time and behave yourselves moderately!

It's a work day for me - in the yard.

Since I've been retired for 9 years, every day is a holiday. :)

Nose to the keyboard, nerds. Keep those routers and servers running or we'll all be without email, surfing and all that other important stuff. :D

Seriously, enjoy your holiday! Take care and I hope everyone is with us on Tuesday.

My the year has gone by fast!

Much too fast. I take off next week for a 14-day Montana vacation, and then it's almost October. Sheesh!

Eastern or Western Montana? I always preferred the Western portion of the state for its scenic beauty. I also had consulting clients there as well.

You are in Oregon aren't you? It isn't too long a trip to get there.

Enjoy your vacation!

True, it's not too long to get to Montana from here, but Montana itself is like mondo biggo. We'll be traveling from John Day, Oregon as far east as Circle, Montana, and maybe even up to Wolf Point. Check it out on a map just for giggles. It's a lot of miles. It will be fun, and we'll be able to go at a reasonably relaxed pace.

I'm armed and ready with 6GBs worth of camera storage cards and extra batteries :)

You'll need every GB of camera storage.

I shot about 6GB per week along the Med at 3MB per shot (2816 x 2112).

These (http://www.kitzy.com) shots were from a film camera about 5 years ago - 40th anniversary party.

I'm too lazy to do any web pages for the Med trip from last year - Italy, Corsica, Monaco and France. I took over 6k pictures. I'm still sorting them. :(

Yes, Montana is huge, I've been there. Everyone kept telling me to enjoy the scenery, but I couldn't see past all those mountains.;)

Since I have not been to Montana for a few years, I'm looking forward to seeing some of your photos. Please share a few upon your return.

Yup, it sure is. Today I have no mustache and weigh about 20 pounds less thanks to the lack of luxury cruise line French food.

That was on our 40th anniversary.

Those were 5 year old pics. My 45th wedding anniversary is in a few days.
That makes me 39 in Jack Benny years or 448 in dog years. ;)

Yup, a lounge would be great.
Just make sure to add some snacks and a few of our favorite beverages.
