Bear with me.... I am having a day that would test the patience of GOD himself.... posting empty replies and threads.... UGH! Will the madness ever stop?
Anyway, I have built a new Exchange Server running Exchange 5.5 Service Pack 4. I am transferring all user mailboxes from the old server to the new server, and replicating the public resources off to the new server as well. The problem is this:
If I mare all items in a public folder resource as read, then that resource gets moved (replicated) to the new server, all the previously 'marked as read' messages appear in bold, or as 'unread'. While I am counting my blessings that the data did in fact make it in the first place, the users are not sharing my point of view that this has been a 100% sucessful move.
Can anyone help me, or I have I revealed a limitation of the Exchange Mail Server System? Help would be great. Thanks.
