Hey all:
I have installed DNS on a new DC, this will be the primary DC for my domain. I keep getting messages in the event viewer for "system" saying: DNS Server unable to interpret format.
This is a "netlogon" error, Event #5774.
The context of the message is as follows:
Registration of the DNS record '_kpasswd._udp.Hillsboro.K12.WI.US. 600 IN SRV 0 100 464 hps-dc.Hillsboro.K12.WI.US.' failed with the following error: DNS server unable to interpret format.
Anyone have a clue here??
I have read a bazillion MS tech notes on this and still do not have a real world solution that I want to apply to my server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance!!
