help!! create a local games server

Hi, actully i am thinking to create a server. only for doing some games update and games sharing for other pc (total got 18 pc), but i got no idea what should i do. i am tired on need to upgrade all the games every times, esp those online games.

this is what i want to do...
(online games server) <-- (my own local games server) connect/update via internet <--- (other workstation) connect via lan cable/wireless

so hope you guys can teach me to solve my problems. thank you.

At a wild guess I'd say you need an Internet connection with enough bandwidth and low latency, and then the servers themselves are going to be specific to the games. So your best resource is probably going to be the game vendors themselves.
