Backup exec issues

HI guys i am getting this error on a windows 2000 server running backup exec 9.1

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xa000fe29 - Authentication failed on connection to the server.

Final error category: Security Errors

I am having problems here, i try and make another system log on account that completes but i still keep your account can not be authenticated.

I have changed all the services the use the System log on account. I have stop and started services and rebooted the server still no joy

any suggestions?

Are you using remote agents or does BackupExec run on one server? If your using remote agents, you need to make sure that the password is correct in the service properties.

Fixed, some stupid idiot dececided to change the administrator password on the server there fore wacking out the backup exec logon acount.

I did ask several times if this had been done but urgh

reset ur password and try again i hope u will do it

Sorry i didn't have to time clearly explain in the last post, someone had reset the password i just edited backup execs default logon user name with the correct password Backups are now working
