Thanks Brian 04-17-2002, 04:11 PM Sure. It is very easy to set-up. Here is what you do: -Load up the server. -Add this server to the Exchange Organization, or if it is a DMZ IMC, then leave it as a stand alone server. -Add the Internet Mail Connector to the new server. -If this is a DMZ IMC, then within Exchange Administrator open the properties dialog box for your current IMC, and go to the Connections tab. Here you can set rules about how this new IMC will recieve mail from your current IMC. -If they are in the same Organization, then they will both send mail out to the Internet. In the properties dialog box of your old, and new IMC, you'll see a tab called Address Space. This is an area where you assign costs to the servers. The IMC with the lowest cost gets the traffic until it is busy. They the second IMC gets the traffic. Both are used Round Robin like if they have the same cost. -You can also specify IMC usage down to the recipient, or destination domain. ------------ robort at 4/15/2002 10:22:29 AM quick question - can u have more than one imc per domain?
