Script to set static ip

I need a script to set the client's static ip. Can you help me please...

why would you need this? can you not just set a static ip in the clients network properties?

the client is in another city. i am thinking of sending the script and tell the man to double click on it to set ip. for this reason i need a script.

I'm looking to automate a DNS change to 1000 wkstn's, same REG key area so this relates, check out Windows Scripts, System Administration, Script to set IP address of a NIC. The answer is right here. Another way would be to get him to send you a copy of his registry, change the key, export the key and send it back to him to merge in... I know, I know, easier to explain nuclear physics to my 4 year old... hope this may help.
