DNS Interoperability issues

In an effort to provide some proactive information and postings to the forums from time to time I am posting this link information from the Microsoft website.

Interoperability with Windows Server 2003 DNS and older versions of Microsoft DNS as well as other DNS iterations, (Berkeley Internet Name Domain (BIND) DNS server implementations specifically) are possible due to the fact that Windows Server 2003 DNS is compliant with most of the Request for Comments (RFC) specifications that are used to define the DNS protocol
