Looking for some feedback.
My situation: I have recieved new hardware and am replacing my primary SMS 2003 site server. The system will be installed with the same IP and Site name as the one I am removing. The only change will be the computer name. I do not care about keeping legacy data/inventory or site settings which is why I am not doing a Site backup/restore.
My question: Should I remove the site boundaries and let all the clients uninstall and then standup the new server or can I simply standup the new server with the same IP and Site name and let the clients heal themselves
