Exchange Client & Exchange Forms Designer - where are they?

I want to use the Microsoft Exchange Forms Designer (EFD).

I've just found an old Outlook 97 CD which has EFD on it, but when I try to install it the setup program tells me I need to have the Exchange Client installed.

I can't find the Exchange Client software anywhere. I've searched numerous books, the Outlook CD, the Exchange Server CD, and the Internet for information, but found nothing.

Can anyone help?

P.S. My work PC has Windows messaging installed and Outlook XP and is communicating happily with Exchange Server 5.5
