I have windows 2000 server. Everything works fine execpt we are unable to access our own website.

We have a pacbell dsl line and a linksys router. Each workstation has a static ip 192.168.1.150 to .160

The dns value is 192.168.1.150 which is the server IP address.

If I change the dns value on any PC to a pacbell value of 206.13.29.12 we can access the website, but sometimes the logon script does not run.

If i add the pacbell dns value to the server, we can access the website, but then there are several errors on the event viewer.

DNS operation refused.

I always thought you never wanted the isp dns values listed.

How can I use the 192.168.1.150 dns value and still access our site?

Is there somewhere on the DNS setup where I can add the ip address of our site to allow access?

The only way you can use 192.168.1.150 and still access your site is internally only or by using NAT because the 192.168.1.x address range is a private, non-routable address range that cannot be used (naked) on the open internet.
