Event id 208

Can anybody shed any light on this as it's annoying me! I am getting quite a few event id 208's message timeout expired after 1680 minutes. Now, I have checked the date/time on both the sending and receiving exchange servers and they match almost to the minute. The other thing that get's me is 1680 minutes does not tally up with any of the default timeouts for messages, i.e. urgent 2 days normal 7 days etc, 1680 minutes is only 28 hours! The other thing that worries me is that I'm convinced these are dir rep messages, not good that they are being NDR'd.

The servers in question are a mixture of NTSP6a with Exchange SP4 and NTSP5 and Exchange SP3.

Any help would greatly appreciated......
