Gateway Timeout....This Week

Why am I getting "GateWay Timeout" very often lately?
I have latest Thinkpad and using ADSL Wireless WIFI
Connection.
Also The Windows XP Degrades Terribly.
Does this remind you of something?

What application is running when the "GateWay Timeout" message appears?

This does not sound like a standard error.

Are there additional messages or information in the Event viewer logs?
