Hi,
I got a new problem. When started my pc I was not able to login to the system. the message giving unable to creat profile. I restarted once again and the chkdsk started automatically. again the same problem came and tried one more to login, o.k. this time logged into the system but all my desktop file gone. Even in programms nothing is there.
I saw that the Documents and Settings folder is became a file. then i created one documents and settings folder. now in that folder default user,administrator, all users and the current user folders were created. But when i click programms nothing is there. In administrtive tools also nothing is there. I am not able to browse the mynetwork places.
what could be the reason behind this. Is this a virus problem? How can get all my desktop files and is there any way to recover the Documents and settings(profile)
