I just finished my first install of exchange 2000. Everything went fines but I cannot receive the e-mails in Outlook. The send/receive process goes fine without any errors. I am able to retrieve e-mail by using the web feature. Can anyone show me the light?
Thanks!

How do you have the two way trust relationship setup?
NT4 domain trusts W2K domain and vice-versa?
The users in the NT4 domain should be logging in with accounts that are trusted in the W2K domain; are they?

Are there any event posting to the event view logs such as security or application errors?
If so what are the event IDs?

hmmm what kind of mail can't you recieve? SMTP or Internal or both?...If you can't recieve SMTP your MX record is prolly pointing to the wrong mailserver. You'll need to check with your ISP who is leasing u your IP address. Internal mail should work right off the bat, unless you didn't do the /forest prep and /domain prep correctly.

I did use /forestpre and /domainprep ... I was just trying to set up internal e-mail .. since that wasn't working I just didn't even try to do external e-mail ... That is OK though ... next week I should be getting a brand new solaris box ... :)
