I wondering if there is a way to retract or retrieve emails sent to users using Outlook.
I have gone to individual mailboxes and retrieved msg's, but I'm wondering if there is a way to grab a email from all the receipts at once.

We're running Exchange 5.5

Thanks,
RJ

Hey Roy , IT is very easy to do. I am assuming you are trying to retract an email sent to recipients within your organization.

Here is what you do. From the client that sent the mail. Go into the sent folder, open the email you want to retract. goto actions menu at top and click on recall this message. You are done. The clients will you receive a message that you want to recall that particular message.

Cheers,

Dave

But the receiver of the msg can still view the message. I want to be able to pull it from their In Box immediately without them even knowing it was there.

Is this possible?

Thanks

I have been wondering about that one myself. The tricky part about that is the client that sent the message must have rights to delete mail from another person’s inbox. I am sure that there is a way but I have not figured it out yet. I believe the exmerge utility allows one to delete a message by subject etc etc from the entire store but the user of exmerge must have service account level privileges. It is a very handy tool .

Good Luck

This trouble may be resolved with the help of repair pst file 2007 (http://www.pstrepairingtool.com). It has intuitive and clear interface for any users. The tool work under all Windows OS. It doesn't modify source data during restoration.
