I have exchange 2k set up in my organisation, running fine. the domain is corp.company.net and users e-mail addresses are joe@company.net.
We now need to add a second smtp domain, so that new users can have mail addressed to mary@blah.com. I have created the new smtp name in the recipients policy and applied it, created the user and given her the right address. I have also edited records (A and MX) on our ISPs DNS to point the mail to the same IP as for company.com.
The problem is that I can send mail internally between joe and mary, and send mail externally from mary, but when someone replies to mary, the mail disappears! there are no NDRs or other error messages and mary never gets the mail.
I have been scratching my head and cannot see what is going wrong, so any help appreciated.
Regards
