We are seeing periodic unexplained slowdowns or unresponsiveness on our recently installed Windows 2000 workstations. It does not appear to be network related but we will investigate that next week with a sniffer. The PC suddenly stops responding to any sort of mouse click, etc. for about 30 seconds and then it is fine. Simply opening and closing task manager also seems to return functionality. The problem is sporadic and only effects one person at a time. Seems to be a 2000 issue.
Has anyone seen this or have any ideas on what might be going on?
