Hi all,
Iīve been running Win2k server quite a while, but
incredible as it may seem, i had never tried using
administrative tools as a user who is not an
administrator, because previosly I was the only
administrator in my workplace. Now Iīm managing a team of
administrators and I want to allow them to access AD users
and computers and other administrative tools without having full administrative privileges, but everytime i try to run any
application that uses MMC, including
an empty MMC, the system displays an error that states:
Temporary directory is not found or there is not enough
disk space. My administrators are members of server
operators, account operators and print operators, as such
they can log on locally but mmc will not run if I donīt
make them members of the administrators group, so I assume
itīs a problem of permissions, but i donīt know where are
these permissions missing. The WINNT emp folder allows
change permissions to the server operators group, so i
guess the problem is not there. Iīd appretiate any help
with this.
Thanx,
Robert
