Mailboxes over a trusted domain

Our Exchange server is installed at our parent company on a different domain but with trusts in place.

How can I create mailboxes for users on our domain (I have installed the MMC snap-in) but this fails to show the whole exchange server; in addition, I do not get the full detail in users AD properties?

Are both of the domains in the same (single) forest? (I am assuming they are).

One of the reason you are not getting the full detail in users AD properties is because Global Catalog servers hold only a subset of information of other domains in the forest.

HI,

It does not look like we are in a single forest (the trusts are manually defined) - I take it that we should be (optimally). Is there a way to restructure to achieve this? (even if long and arduous).
