Cannot view Internet Mail Service

I cannot view the properties of the Internet Mail Service on my site. The error message "Extension SMTP could not be loaded." The error is exactly like the description is Microsoft article ID Q183320.

My site has only one Exchange server running 5.0 with Sp1. The other site has three servers (2 running 5.0 with Sp2 and 1 with 5.5).

I have copied the the 5.5 version of the Imcadmin.dll to my server but still experience the problem. Also the 5.5 server is not in my site. Any thoughts or solutions?

I have fixed the problem. I copied exchsrvradd-inssmtpimcadmin.dll from 5.0 CD to the server. However the my server is running with service pack 1. Make sure you use the imcadmin.dll that comes with the service pack 1. If not, you will get an event log entry saying that the imcadmin.dll is not the correct version. Once I installed the correct version of imcadmin.dll, I was able to view the queues of the Internet Mail connector.
