Hi.
I'm running SBS2K on a few networks. On one nw, the available MB is extremely low, and the committed bytes is always over 1GB. Store.exe averages on about 800MB memory (often going above).
The public store is about 10GB, and the private store about 6GB.
Restarting the IS brings the memory usage back to what I think is normal.
Other SBS2K servers don't appear to have this problem.
I have found info from MS, but it just suggests that I install Exchange 2000 Service Pack 2, which has been done.
Please let me know any info you might have on this..
Thanks.

On an Exchange 2000 server, the Exchange application itself controls the memory. Exchange will allocate memory to the system and any application running. This is why the available memory seems to be very low. You should use performance counters to truely judge wheather your server is low of available memory.

There is a patch on Microsofts websight for this issue. Also make sure you are at least running SP2.
