We currently have IIS 4.0 up and running. However, I have had problems mapping virtual Network drives
to physical Network drives using MS internet Service manager. Also, I must add that this has worked on certain machines with no problems.
Could someone give me some insight on this issue.
Thanks,
Cedric

I would check my protocols and map your shares adding them in your login scripts should help...

Your issue sounds like it may be a permission issue. To be able to map network drives for virtual roots or dirs in IIS, check to make sure that your IUSR_ComputerName has the right to logon locally on the server where your network map points to.

It is a bug in IIS 4.0. A DLL cannot access a mapped drive regardless of authentication rights.
MS said it would be fixed in IIS 5.0.
