Has anyone had problems spanning and administrating a MS Exchange 5.5 Site across 2 NT domains.
The NT domains are well connected and have a two way relationship between them. And as long as the Service accounts are hunky dory things should just go.
But i`ve heard from someone else that one of Microsofts guidelines were stronly suggesting against this configuration. Even thought all there documentation says its fine.
Any comments!

While configuring a test site with two seperated domains connected over a
WAN link with a two-way trust relation, I experienced problems on connecting
the two sites within one organization.
The main problem was to connect the second site to the organization. Everytime
an error occured during installation. When trying to verify the site name the error
reported that there were insufficient rights to the user. Even when using a copy
of the Administrator as a Service Account.
By now the test site isn`t running as it should be. Each domain has it`s own Exchange
Server with different organizational and site names. By using a X.400 connector
information is exchanged between the servers. This works fine but still did not solve
the problem.

A two-way trsut does not implicitely grant Administrator rights!
Make sure that the account you are using to connect the two sites has Admin rights in both sites.
I have this configuration working fine at two of my customers site.
