Rename Exchange Server

Does anyone know a reasonable way to rename an existing Excvhange Server in a multisite environment?

There is no way to rename an Exchange server - short of reinstalling Exchange.
Echange must be installed to the correct server name for it to work. Changing the
server name once Echange is install, will render Exchange useless. The server will
still work, but exchange will not.

To rename an Exchange server
Backup the server
uninstall Exchange
rename the server
reinstall exchange
restore just the DATA for exchange
(I`m leaving out the details here because it is scary the first time anyone does it)
run ISINTEG
Start the Exchange services
And your backup and running with a new name

( I`ve restored several Exchange data sets and I must admit it was very iffy the first time,
I do not recommend this for the faint of heart)
