Sorry if I rant a bit but I have been going around in circles.

At home I have installed MS SQL Server 6.5 and 7.0 and Sybase ASE 11.5 with the MS Loopback Adapter, they all work fine but I cannot get the Personal Web Server(IIS) to work as it cannot see the localhost. I have tried specifying the loopback address (127.0.0.1) but it still does not work except for when I am actually connected to the net as it appears to be picking up the address externally.

If anyone has any pointers or tips I would appreciate it,

Thanks,

Andrew.

You might want to check your binding order. This can be found in the last tab (binding) of Network propertys. Try disabling or moving to the end, your external adapters so that all resolution happens internally. Good luck.
