Copying Profiles

Hello, I am trying to copy users profiles from one windows 2000 terminal server to another keeping the profile structure in tact. That is the security and permissions on the file on computer A will match that on Computer B. I able to do this. I am not using roaming profiles. I was wondering if there is a way to automate this process where we can copy profile 1 of computer A with its SID to the same place on computer 2 with a new SID and not corrupt an directory structure. I am still using windows domains and not A.D. any help on this will be appreciated.
