either you need to change he file hosts on every client by adding the ip-address of the server and all names (host-headers) or you must update our dns with the new names of the ip-address

in site-server there is a option to show all >32k objects

you can write a script with the wsh(windows scripting host)
and run it on both servers

either you can add three addresses or you use the host-headers

From what I have reviewed, it is best done on one server.
