ASP not loading becuase of MemFreeFactor

OWA stopped working and upon investigating why I found this error message in the event logs: Warning: Registry key MemFreeFactor is out of range. Use 1 as the default.

I tried to research this error message and could not find anything in TechNet or M$ on-line help.

I went ahead and made the registry change stopped and started the web service and ASP loaded.

Anyone know what MemFreeFactor is?

Anyone know what MemFreeFactor is?

We had this as well, but are as unknowingly as You. I think it disappeared with IIS4 though. But we still have problems with OWA making IIS hang, and hang good too, forcing us to reboot the machine. It got a little better with SP4 for NT 4.
