G'day all,
One of my clients currently has an Ex5.5 server which is about to be rebuilt
(not upgraded) as an Ex2k server, and has multiple domains in use. Two of
them are listed as being routed to a third, meaning that they do not have to
set up many multiple addresses for each user. Is there any way to do this in
Ex2k? I know I can set it up to receive multi domains through recipient
policies, but I don't think that this will effectively give multi addresses
for each user without actually listing / creating them. i.e. a given user
only has one address defined abc@company1.com.au but gets mail to both
abc@company1.com.au and abc@company2.com.au , where company2 is defined
through the routing tab as being routed to company1. Each user has several
forms of address for the base domain, so recreating them would be a problem,
both in the initial setup and ongoing maintenance. Do I need to use multiple
virtual smtp servers - this approach doesn't seem valid though.
TIA
Andrew
