Hi.

Can anyone confirm my thoughts on the following scenario:

Mailbox 1 (from this point referred to as "John") exists on an exchange server. Under the permissions tab for that mailbox, another user "Bill" has been granted user permission so that he can check John's mail when John is not in the office.

Suppose Bill connects to John's mailbox (using Outlook 97, Tools -> Services -> Exchange -> Advanced -> Add mailbox "John") and opens John's inbox. He then DELETES a message.

John returns, starts outlook and goes to deleted items, adds the dumpster extension and attempts to retrieve deleted messages.

I think - and I'd like this confirmed or refuted - that John WILL NOT SEE the message which Bill deleted.

Can anyone voice an answer here?

Thanks for you time,

G.
