Hi,

We've recently merged with another company, and I've been given the task of creating a new domain name for external mail to reflect the change in company name. The new domain name and new MX record is registered, but I need to update each mailbox (2500 of them)with an additional SMTP address to reflect the change.

I'm using v5.5 Enterprise. Does anyone know of a script or any other automated way of adding the SMTP address for each mailbox in the format firstname.lastname@newdomain.com

I've been given a deadline of 1 July for this, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I'm going to have to deal with some very upset HD staff when they are assigned this task !!!

Cheers

Martin

You need to do an export and import of the secondary smtp address, i did this about 6 months ago, worked like a treat..
