Facts:
NT Workstation 4 w/ 3c905 NIC connected to a FDDI bridge
SP5 applied
Description:
Applied Service Pack 5 to this PC. Rebooted. Attempted to login only to receive error message that a domain controller could not be found and cached information would be used. I have encountered this problem several times after applying SP5 on similiar machines running Ethernet to FDDI connections after. Resolution for those machines was to remove the computer from the domain, delete the computer account via Server Manager, and have them rejoin the domain. This did not solve the problem this time. Reinstalled NIC and drivers and rejoined the domain. Still no resolution. Technet is absolutely no help on this matter. I would appreciate ANY advice anyone could offer.

Thanks in advance,

Subnet Mask, as well as all other network settings, are unchanged. System was working fine on the network prior to applying SP5. Now, logon validation by a domain controller does not occur, but ALL network resources are still available.
