after a clean w2k adv. server build, the system log fills with
error messages [about 14 ] all referring to "DNS operation refused"
for the standard w2k DC service records that are normally created
DNS server passes all the query tests and looks normal from almost every angle....here's a few of the events
hint> dynamic update is enabled,too


Registration of the DNS record '_ldap._tcp.9266ad5c-dc3f-4f41-8961-76b664139a65.domains._msdcs.INTEREXNET.com. 600 IN SRV 0 100 389 bullwinkle.INTEREXNET.com.' failed with the following error:
DNS operation refused.

Registration of the DNS record 'gc._msdcs.INTEREXNET.com. 600 IN A 192.168.0.5' failed with the following error:
DNS operation refused.

Registration of the DNS record 'e6e1c40c-b7df-4131-a65b-5f63b4d4694a._msdcs.INTEREXNET.com. 600 IN CNAME bullwinkle.INTEREXNET.com.' failed with the following error:
DNS operation refused.

Registration of the DNS record '_kerberos._tcp.dc._msdcs.INTEREXNET.com. 600 IN SRV 0 100 88 bullwinkle.INTEREXNET.com.' failed with the following error:
DNS operation refused.

Registration of the DNS record '_ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.INTEREXNET.com. 600 IN SRV 0 100 389 bullwinkle.INTEREXNET.com.' failed with the following error:
