cc Mail Migration to Ms Exchange 5.5 Problem

Ok here is the problem. Set up exchange and got it to migrate all the users and their messages from the ccmail directory(which was copied to he exchage server for faster migration). After trying to connect to the Corp. exchange and not being able to, it was suggested that I uninstall Exchange and reinstall this time changing the site name to match theirs.
Did all of this but now when i try to migrate from cc mail it creates thes mailboxes in exchange but will not import the messages i starts showing errors in the migration status box. I've unistalled and reinstalled trying different methods.
Does anyone have any suggestions step by step for help with this. Is that previous information being stored somewhere hidden?
