Hi Friends,
I have a setup containing of Win NT 4.0 servers configured as different domains in different locations, connected through leased lines. All locations have a Exchange 5.5 server for mail.
1)Is this possible to send mail from one site to another using my private connection(ie. linking exchange servers to recognise each other)
2)If yes can somebody help me with it,or let me know where could I get some info on it.

Thanks in advance

Munish

Munish,

This is standard Exchange Server functionality that you desire. Depending on the speed of your leased lines there are several methods of connecting you exchange servers. If you have a minimum of 56k bandwith that exchange can use, then your best option is to install a "Site Connector" between your exchange servers. My situation involves several servers in North America and several in Europe and we don't have lots of available bandwith so we use the X.400 connector over TCP/IP. There is also a RAS connector to connect via dial-up, but if you have leased lines either the site connector or x.400 connector is the way to go. Any good exchange server book will explain in detail how to set this up.
