I found how to change which port it receives mail on but I can't find how to change which port SMTP mail is sent on. EXchange 5.5 SP2 by the way.

2. Why?!?!?! SMTP is port 25. Endex. So sayeth the RFC.

3. That said, if you _really_ want to do it, I'm given to understand that changing the entry in c:winntsystem32driversetcservices will work.

ADSI Editing of the appropriate Attribute much as you would alter the SSL port for LDAP.
To view you attributes run the admin.exe /r (Raw mode). Now that I have given you the Gun, Don't shoot Yourself....
