Folks,
I'm getting some weird errors in my domain, which I migrated from NT4 to Windows 2000 recently. Domain name = PUERTO.RICO DNS domain name = puertorico.att.com.
NETDIAG.EXE shows a few warnings:
- In the DC discovery section: "Cannot find Windows 2000 DC in domain 'PUERTO.RICO'.
[ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN] This isnt' a problem if domain ... does not have any Windows 2000 DCs.
Of course, my two DCs are Windows 2000 Server SP2.
- In th Kerberos test section: "Your logon domain isn't running Kerberos."
- In the LDAP test section: "DC '\servername' isn't running the DS.
- [WARNING] Failed to query SPN registration on DC 'servername'.
Most services run fine, users authenticate fine, but sometimes a user logon will not complete, after verifying the correct password.
Any ideas???
Regards,
Pedro Serrano
