Hi
I am having trouble getting Exchange 2k to work with internet email. I have tried very hard to follow the vague steps as provided by microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/techinfo/deployment/2000/E2KInternetConfig.asp
So I have set up 2 smtp virtual servers, and defined a recipient policy for my domain. Sending internet email works fine, but for some reason i still cannot receive. I have set up mx records pointing to the exchange server. Whenever I send, the email gets bounced back from the postmaster address of my exchange server, and it just says "Message could not be delivered to the following recipients:" and then lists the recipient name. And thats it. No details.
If anyone can help me on this it would be much appreciated!

Work around with DNS setting and ip address, and verifiy the proper dns and mx entry with your local internet provider.
at my best

Mike,
I don't know if this will help or not, but you might try AppDancer/FA from AppDancer Networks. It's a new product that just won Best of Interop at Networld+Interop 2002 Las Vegas. They just announced version 2.0 that allows you to monitor Miscrosft Exchange Server user transactions in real-time. There's a case study about this on their website:
http://www.appdancer.com/case_study_pop.htm
and there's also a 14 day free trial. Might be worth trying it out to see if it helps.

Do you have an SMTP connector set up under Routing Groups?
