Outlook's Out of office assistant

I am using outlook 98 client and Exchange 5.5 Server. Whenever someone trying to set up a new out of office reply. The person recieving the reply gets an old message and the new message. Has anyone else seen this before

Yes, it happens when there are rules setup. Clear out all and any rules and it should fix it.
