I'm trying to implement this in a NT 4.0 SP6a Domain, where all users logon through a Citrix Metaframe 1.8 farm with the latest hotfixes, and NT Terminal Server SP5. I have set the logon hours for certain users in User Manager, Profiles. And this works, it does not allow them to logon during that time. I then went to Account Policy and checked off the forcibly disonnect remote users from server when logon hours expire option. This does not work! Has anyone else tried this, and come up with a solution?

Microsoft states this was fixed for NT 4
Article ID: Q135598

But: http://www.edu.physics.uch.gr/%7Ekimon/nt12.htm
"The option to forcibly log off applies only to users of client
PCs running Windows NT Workstation or Windows 95.
All non-Windows NT or Windows 95 computers are not
disconnected when the logoff time expires. Non-Windows
NT/95 computers can't access any new network resources but can
continue to use without restriction the resources to which they're then connected."

Best I could come up with on short notice.

Thanks... I ran across this as well in my search for an answer. Unfortunately, to date, the best approach i have found around this is the use of a third party tool. You would think that after 6 service packs, microsoft would have gotten this one right :o
