Is it possible to tell exchange to automatically copy a clients sent mail into a specified public folder?

There is a new feature in SP1 for Exchange 5.5 called message hournaling. It captures copies of user's messages within Exchange and place then on a public folder. You can capture all messages or just messages for specific recipients.

I've enabled the message journalling feature (by editing the regestry as described in the microsoft support document), however it doesn't seem to give me the control to ensure that only the outgoing mail is copied - it also copies incoming. Do you know if this is possible?
