Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : 2 seemingly identical configs - only one can ping
I have two machines that are plugged pyshically into the same hub, they are both members of the same domain, and they have identical TCP/IP setting, with the exception of their actual IP address which differs by just one form the other, both machines log in to the netowrk but only one can ping externally to the internet, any ideas?

Check the preferred DNS server settings on the one that cannot access the Internet.
Make sure that the one that cant ping the Internet is not being blocked by a GPO.
