the specified device instance handle does not correspond to a present device
I did a restore with arcserve backup (ASO) and there are notifications if you click some services : "the specified device instance handle does not correspond to a present device". The services can start (almost all).

Has somebody an idea ?

Hi,

I also got the same message after I create a service by
editing the registry.

Configuration Manager: The specified device instance handle does not correspond to a present device.

The service works too. I have not been able to find the cause/solution to the warning message. Do you have any update to your problem?
