I have one user who can't open any attatchments recieved but when they foreward the message to another user the other user is able to open them. Client is outlook 2000 running on exchange 5.5 SP3. Any one else experienced this issue before. Search KB and technet and found nothing.

The only time I have seen this is was just a corrupt install of 2000. Have you tried setting up this users profile on another system and checking the attachments from there. If they still won't open, it's a mailbox problem at that point.
