Hi!
Configuration: WINNT 4.0, PDC, SP 6, in a multiple master domain configuration. One way trust relationship established with another domain.
WINS , DHCP and DNS installed and working properly. Now comes the strange part: when I tried to setup the WINS from the other domanin to be a replication partner for my WINS, I get a new WINS with this IP address 0.255.0.184 wich became my owner and contains the names database. I tried to unistall the WINS, to delete the files from "%winntsystem32wins" subdirectory and reinstall the WINS again, but no use. I can't get rid of this. There is no info about this 255.0 .184 in KDB or Technet.
Any help would be very appreciated.
